Teeth in One Day in Woodland Hills
Walk in with failing or missing teeth. Walk out the same day with a complete, fixed arch. Built stronger. Designed to last.

What Is Teeth in One Day?
Teeth in One Day — also called same-day implants or immediate load implants — is a treatment approach that allows qualifying patients to receive dental implants and a fixed, functional temporary arch of teeth in a single appointment. Rather than waiting months between implant placement and your first new smile, you leave the same day with teeth in place.
At First Dental Implant Center, same-day procedures are built on the same foundation as every other case Dr. Kass Nourishad performs: a minimum of 6 implants per arch through the Stunning System, planned with 3D imaging before a single incision is made.
How Same-Day Implants Work
Same-day delivery is possible because of the precision made available through advanced 3D cone beam CT imaging and digital treatment planning. Before your surgical appointment, Dr. Kass maps the exact position, angle, and depth for each implant based on your unique bone structure — removing the guesswork that would otherwise make same-day delivery too risky.
On the day of your procedure, any remaining failing teeth are removed, implants are placed according to that pre-built surgical plan, and a fixed temporary prosthetic arch is attached the same day. The temporary arch functions like a full set of teeth while your implants integrate with the jawbone — typically over a period of several months — before your final, permanent restoration is placed.
Am I a Candidate for Same-Day Implants?
Not every patient qualifies for immediate loading, and that is an honest, important distinction. Same-day candidacy depends primarily on the volume and density of available jawbone, your overall health, and the condition of your existing teeth and gums.
Patients with significant bone loss are sometimes told they are not candidates for implants at all — same-day or otherwise. Dr. Kass performs bone grafting and ridge augmentation directly, and in some cases this can open the door to candidacy that was previously ruled out elsewhere. The only way to know for certain is a consultation and 3D imaging.
- Most or all teeth missing, failing, or beyond saving in one or both arches
- Adequate bone volume and density to support immediate implant loading
- General health that supports same-day surgical treatment
- Currently wearing dentures and seeking a fixed, permanent alternative without a long waiting period
Why Same-Day Doesn’t Mean Fewer Implants
Speed is often marketed as a reason to use fewer implants per arch — some same-day systems on the market use as few as four implants specifically because it shortens the procedure. First Dental Implant Center does not take that approach.
A four-implant arch places significantly more functional demand on each individual implant, particularly during the healing and integration period when the bite is still adjusting to a fixed restoration. Dr. Kass’s Stunning System uses a minimum of 6 implants per arch for same-day cases — at no extra charge — because a stronger foundation matters just as much on day one as it does ten years later.
Same-day delivery, in other words, should be about precision and planning — not about cutting the number of implants to save time.
Why Patients Trust Dr. Kass with Same-Day Cases
Same-day implant procedures require a level of surgical planning and precision that not every provider has the experience to execute reliably. Dr. Kass Nourishad has been performing full-arch implant reconstruction — including same-day cases — for more than 20 years. His credentials are not self-declared: he is a Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI), earned through a documented case history of 500 implant cases and peer review, representing the highest level of recognition in the field of oral implantology.

- 20+ years performing full-arch and same-day implant procedures
- 3D cone beam CT imaging and digital planning for every same-day case
- USA-made implants exclusively — never sourced overseas to cut costs
What to Expect on the Day of Your Procedure
Before Your Appointment — Planning and Imaging
Same-day delivery only works because of what happens beforehand. Dr. Kass uses 3D cone beam CT imaging and digital impressions to map your entire procedure — implant number, placement, angle, and the design of your temporary arch — well before your surgical date.
Morning — Implant Placement
Any remaining failing teeth are removed and a minimum of 6 implants per arch are placed according to your individualized surgical plan.
Same Day — Fixed Temporary Arch
A fixed temporary prosthetic arch is attached to your new implants the same day. You leave with a complete, functional set of teeth — not a removable temporary, and not a gap.
Following Months — Healing and Integration
Your implants integrate with the jawbone over several months. Dr. Kass monitors this healing process through follow-up visits and imaging.
Final Step — Permanent Restoration
Once integration is complete, your final permanent arch is placed. Read more about the complete process on our All-on-X page.

Investing in a Permanent Solution

What does “Teeth in One Day” actually mean?
Teeth in One Day means qualifying patients receive dental implants and a fixed, functional temporary arch of teeth in a single appointment — rather than waiting months between implant placement and receiving a new smile.
Am I guaranteed to qualify for same-day implants?
No — same-day candidacy depends on bone volume, bone density, and overall health, and is determined individually for each patient. Dr. Kass evaluates candidacy using 3D imaging during your consultation.
Does First Dental Implant Center use fewer implants for same-day cases to save time?
No. Every same-day full-arch case at First Dental Implant Center uses a minimum of 6 implants per arch, the same standard as the Stunning System protocol used for all full-arch cases. Speed comes from precision planning, not from reducing the number of implants.
What happens if I'm not a candidate for same-day implants?
If immediate loading isn't right for your case, Dr. Kass will recommend a traditional staged approach, or in some cases, bone grafting to build the bone volume needed before implants can be placed at all. A consultation will clarify the right path for your specific situation.
Is the temporary arch removable or fixed?
The temporary arch delivered on the day of your procedure is fixed — it is attached to your implants and functions as a complete set of teeth while healing occurs, not a removable denture.
How long until I receive my permanent teeth?
Healing and integration typically take several months, during which your fixed temporary arch remains in place and functional. Once integration is confirmed, your final permanent restoration is fabricated and placed.
